What you eat for your lunch can make or break your afternoon!
Concentration, energy dips and motivation are all affected by what is in your lunch!
During the day we are designed to process food for energy for all the functions of the body, including our brains and at lunchtime we need… good fuel with a healthy protein content, to sustain the afternoon’s activities without the energy dips mostly experienced from a poor quality or poor content lunch.
We are designed to follow Circadian rhythms (or our natural body clock) through the day and if we work with these rhythms our body’s are happy and our performance and brain functioning improves – we need a healthy lunch.
Many people spend a fortune on ready prepared lunches that are full of unhealthy content! You could say they are paying a lot of money to feel sluggish and unhealthy, which is a confounding action!! We can read the ingredients (which often contains a long list of many ingredients that do not resemble food) that may be loaded with mayonaise or sauces that get us eating more of the food we don’t need and make our waistline and ability to concentrate suffer unessessarily.
The balance of nutrients in your lunch is vital for:

- to stop the post lunch dips,
- to keep you satisfied until the next meal and
