This delicious pate is so quick to make and contains good Omega 3 oils to promote anti- inflammatory benefits and it’s also gluten and dairy free. Eat it with oatcakes, as a dip with veg. sticks or put it in wraps with shredded salad veg. It’s also a great healthy starter for an evening meal, dressed up with dill and watercress strands and a sprinkle of toasted sunflower seeds – serve with some hot toasted pitta bread or mini Nairn oatcakes.

150gms smoked salmon
150g silken tofu
Juice of ½ lemon
A handful of dill finely chopped
Freshly ground black pepper and a sprinkle of sea salt
You could add garlic or chilli to add further flavour.
Place all the ingredients in a food processor and blend to the consistency you like.
